The fairest princess, of
unearthly finesse
From flowers of oak, broom
and meadowsweet created
Love divine, for a prince
from fragrant blossoms,
yellow and pink

Beauty, born of flowers,
of loveliness immortal
Goddess created, for love
in eternal bliss
Bride to Lleu, a gift
of magicians
Celebration of love and floral
creativity

A gentle creature, unearthly
but of earthly passions made
In time, to fall, as earthly
creatures often do
For a love of earthly desires,
lustful needs, human frailty
Goronwy, Lord of Penllyn, was
her beau

And in passion, she was consumed
For even goddesses of divine
creation, may fall
Thus was she taken from this
earthly world
Transformed in magic into the
dark, a bird of the night
