A Walk In Paradise

A place we never know?
Far beyond the grasp of that which we feel,
Or can touch?

Mysteries in the mist of time,
Desired always,
But somehow ever one step away.
This walk in paradise.

Clouded from our vision,
It's seed growing restlessly in each heart.
Is it possible that fate has erred?

What sunlight light this in your smile,
That cast aside this veil of life's clouds.
New visions brighten the coming day,

Shrouded no more in gray and listless mats of emptiness,
This new palette splendid in its trim of life and love.
Harsh stone pathways yielding to soft green meadows,
Whose caress brings life and lift to each new step.

A walk in paradise no father away than sweetness of your lips.
Whose kiss holds the key of her gate.
Her mysteries opened with the touch,
Of a hand so gentle and so warm.
Placed here upon this heart,
To feel the beating of love and joy,
Upon the gates of paradise.
